Sensitivites and Allergies

Before your service begins, please inform your esthetician of any skin sensitivities or allergies. If you do not notify your esthetician, we will proceed with our standard products, which are generally well-tolerated by most people. While product reactions are rare, they can occur.

If a reaction does occur, we do not offer refunds. However, we will work with you to adjust the products used or remove any that have been applied.

Notice of Photo and Video Usage

Mukha Studio (New Skin Retreat, LLC) may request to take photos or videos during your treatment to showcase before-and-after results, collect testimonials, or document any issues related to your service. These images and videos may be used for online purposes, including on our website, social media platforms, and other digital marketing materials. They may occasionally appear in printed publications or other creative materials produced by Mukha Studio.

If you do not consent to the use of your images or videos for marketing purposes, please inform your esthetician before or during your appointment, and they will ensure your profile is updated accordingly.

No-Show, Late, and Same-Day Cancellation Policy

We are committed to providing the best possible experience for every client. When you book an appointment, the time is reserved exclusively for you. Please review our policies below:

  • Cancellation Notice: A 48-hour notice is required for cancellations. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, a $50 late cancellation fee will be charged to the card on file. Cancellations outside of business hours may be made via phone call or text at (916) 360-0303.

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled, and you will be charged 100% of the service fee. You will need to reschedule for another day.

  • No-Shows: A No-Show occurs when you miss your appointment without prior notice. This will be recorded in your client file and may result in future booking restrictions. A second No-Show without reasonable cause will result in being blocked from booking future appointments.

  • Same-Day Cancellations or Changes: Cancellations, late arrivals, or changes to your service within 2 business days of your scheduled appointment will incur a $50 fee. This applies to service removals or changes due to pre/post-care negligence or cancellations due to illness.

Prepaid Packages

All prepaid packages are non-refundable. Clients are responsible for tracking the use of their package treatments.

Deposits

A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit will be applied to your service balance. Returning clients must have a credit card on file. By providing your card information, you authorize Mukha Studio (New Skin Retreat, LLC) to charge for late arrivals, cancellations, or no-shows.

  • No-Show: 100% of the service fee will be charged for missed appointments.

  • Cancellations/Rescheduling: Clients who cancel or reschedule more than 3 times will be blocked from booking future appointments.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase. After one year, they will expire and can no longer be redeemed.

Virtual & In-Person Consultations

A $50 consultation fee is required for both virtual and in-person consultations. This fee may be applied toward products purchased on the same day. The consultation credit is only valid on the day of the appointment and cannot be used for future purchases. If no products are purchased, the $50 will be retained as the consultation fee and paid directly to the esthetician. For virtual consultations, skincare products are an additional purchase and are not included in the consultation fee.
